Speaker: Gwen Davies – A New Zealand calving season: a dairy vet’s perspective
“My name’s Gwen Davies, I grew up on a beef and sheep farm in the South Wales hills. I went to University in Bristol and qualified in 2020. I came straight to Cheshire to Nantwich Farm Vets and have been here ever since – apart from my brief stint in working in Southland, New Zealand. I’ll be talking about my experience of New Zealand style wintering, transition management, metabolic and disease issues around calving and calf health management.”
