A webinar focusing on grazing strategies which deliver more from less – lower inputs resulting in increased species diversity in the swards, improved animal health and welfare, superior quality meat and more carbon sequestration.
- Jonty Brunyee is General Manager of FarmED, The Centre for Farm & Food Education based in the Cotswolds. The Centre aims to promote and accelerate the transition towards regenerative farming and sustainable food systems.
- Jimmy Stobart farms in the Eden valley in Cumbria with his brother, Tom. The farm extends to 780 hectares (1927 acres) split into two main blocks, consisting of 100 hectares run on a rotational grazing system and the rest made up of SDA and moorland under a Higher Level Stewardship.
- Geraint Powell was brought up on a beef and sheep farm near Brecon in Mid Wales where his parents still farm today. Geraint moved to the Cotswolds in December 1999, initially as a livestock foreman on a large mixed estate before becoming a self-employed shepherd and fencing contractor. He has since moved back to his native Wales to manage an all-grass farm in the Wye Valley.
