A EGF
The European Grassland Federation is a forum for students, research workers, advisors, teachers, industry representatives, farmers, policy makers and other people with active interest in all aspects of grassland in Europe. These aspects include utilisation and management of all types of grasslands for production and other ecosystem services.
BGS EGF 2025
BGS is a membership organisation which acts as a communication forum, through events and publications, for the profitable and sustainable use of grass and forage. It brings together all those with an active interest in the science and practice of grass and forage production and utilisation; research workers, farmers, advisers, teachers and technical members of the agricultural industry.
C Stapledon EGF
Established in 1962 as a tribute to the late Sir George Stapledon, the Trust provides awards to both individuals and organisations on all aspects of grassland use, including the production, amenity, social, economic and environmental implications. The Trust particularly seeks to focus on activities that benefit the development of early career grassland scientists.
Corteva is proud to be a sponsor of EFG 2025. Corteva is a leading R&D based global agribusiness with a strong track record on delivering valued technologies to help livestock farmers grow the best quality and quantity home-grown forage. We are currently launching a new clover safe herbicide for use in both newly sown leys and established grassland. Called ProClova®, it controls a wide spectrum of weeds and is now approved for use in a growing number of European countries. An increasing area is being devoted to multi-species leys which brings challenges on agronomy and optimizing establishment and sustaining their value. EGF 2025 will be an opportunity to learn more and ProClova will be a valued tool in this respect.
Germinal are specialists in grass and forage seed, working at ground level to share knowledge and expertise with customers, distributors and partners across agriculture and amenity. Germinal is a privately owned firm that works closely with IBERS at Aberystwyth University, funding near-market work for forage grass, red and white clovers. Germinal also conducts extensive trials via its research facility. The majority of Germinal’s grass seed is produced in the UK via a network of contract growers. However, it also works with international seed breeders to offer a broad range of species (such as chicory, kale and maize) and varieties. X: @wearegerminal @GerminalUKAgri Visit the Germinal website
